THE SENIORS BOOTH — a comfortable, safe space to just sit and talk. And more importantly, to listen to one another.
The Senior's Citizen is a podcast by seniors, for seniors — real conversation, good news, and your stories. Step into the booth, sit down, and talk. The Operator is listening, and what you say here becomes the show.
Free, always. No sign-up. No password. Nothing to buy.

Today's Question
Wednesday, November 4, 2026
This year, British Columbia never turned its clocks back. We stayed right where we were. But Washington, Oregon, and California went back an hour — and half the machines didn't get the word. Calendars are showing appointments an hour off. Rides are being sent at the wrong time. Alarms are ringing when they shouldn't.
So check your times this week. And check on a senior whose life runs on a schedule somebody else keeps.
Has the clock confusion touched your life yet? Yes or no — and tell us what happened.
Stay calm. You did the right thing coming here. Take your time, breathe, and make the call when you're ready.
If it's a scam happening right now: hang up, call the number on the back of your bank card yourself, and tell someone you trust. That's Fraud Watch rule number one.
Nobody here will ever ask you for money, banking details, or personal information. If anyone ever does, in any call or message, that is not us. Hang up.
Door Three
Leave a Message
Say it your way. The surest way to reach the show today is a message on our Facebook Page — the Operator reads every message there, and no words left there are lost.
Email for the show is being set up. When it opens, it will open right here.
Nothing you send is read on the show without your permission. This booth never asks for your phone number.

Return to the Rails — The Seniors Express Tour 2027
Vancouver to Halifax · June 1 to September 1, 2027
From Vancouver to Halifax, we stop and talk to seniors along the way, where they live and have their being. Every stop is an event. Every person who comes out is a story to tell — a story to tell as part of our collective wisdom.
We all started on the same street. The world changed its clothes, but lost its voice. The voices are still here — and here's a booth where they're kept, and heard, and never lost.
The Roots · The Victory Garden
His grandparents' grandparents, beside the garden that fed the street. A world that grew its own food and knew its own neighbours — the innocence, before it was lost.
Home Movies · The Sixties
It starts at home. A kid, a bike, a street where everybody knew your name. A family at the table. The way it started for all of us — and the music is already playing.
1955 — 1980 · An Ordinary Life
A young man, a car he kept running with his own two hands, and the radio playing the years going by. The girl beside him changes. The haircuts change. The music changes. He drives on.
1980 — Today · The World Got Loud
Careers rose. Money got tight, then tighter. We lost people. The world sped up into a mess none of us voted for — and somewhere in the noise, we started to drift.
The Destination
The journey ends at a phone booth from the past. Step inside, and close the door. First they listen — really listen. Then, only then, the applause. He's not drifting anymore.
